Becoming a Mapnovi partner: access, process and a worked example
Is the partner programme worth it for your agency? The ten-minute test on your own client base, how to get access, the first order – and a worked example with real assumptions.

“Is this worth it for us?” is the first question agencies ask about the Mapnovi partner programme. The second is: “How much work is it?” Both can be answered before you sign anything – this article goes through them in order.
Step 1: check whether it fits your client base
The partner programme suits agencies and service providers who look after local clients with a Google Business Profile: websites, SEO, local marketing, social media, IT support – and equally accountants or franchise head offices. The question is not whether you “do something with reviews”, but whether your clients have locations that get reviewed.
A practical test takes ten minutes: take five existing clients, open their Google profile and sort the reviews by “Newest”. If you find reviews that obviously come from competitors, former employees or people who were never customers, you have your answer. In our experience, roughly one in three or four local locations has at least one review like that.
Step 2: request access
Registration is free and non-binding: first name, last name, agency, email, password – then our team activates the account. There is no sign-up fee, no base fee and no minimum term; costs only arise once a review has actually been removed.
You can register at partner.mapnovi.de/partner-register. What waits for you in the portal is described in detail in The Mapnovi partner portal.
Step 3: create the first order
- Enter the location. Your client's address or Google link – the profile's reviews are loaded.
- Select the reviews. You mark the ones that look wrong to you.
- Hand the order over. From here the work is ours.
- Track the status. The portal shows which cases are open and which are finished.
- Invoice. Once a review is gone, you can bill your client for it.
For the first order we suggest a client you speak to regularly anyway. Then the result lands in your next meeting – and you have a reference case for every conversation after that.
What it can add up to

The example is deliberately conservative: 60 existing clients, 40 per cent of them with negative reviews, an average of three submittable reviews per client and an end-customer price of €99 per review. The result: 24 clients affected, around 65 reviews actually removed and gross revenue of roughly €6,435 – from a single pass through the client base.
Replace the numbers with your own. Two figures decide the outcome: how many of your clients are affected at all, and what price you set. You know both better than we do.
How partners sell it
We most often see three forms:
- As a standalone service. A price per review, clearly delimited. Works well when there is an acute case.
- As part of a package. For example, an existing “Pro” package gains ongoing review monitoring and the removal of up to ten policy-violating reviews. The package price rises; the perceived value rises further.
- As an entry point. A small, quickly visible win at the start of a client relationship – and after that the conversation about the website, SEO or ongoing support.
What helps in all three cases: the client sees the result themselves. They do not have to believe a report, they just look at their own profile.
What to know beforehand
- There is no guarantee. Google decides on every single review. For policy-violating reviews, experience puts the success rate at around 90 per cent – a figure from experience, not a promise.
- Legitimate criticism stays. That belongs in the client conversation too: this is about reviews that violate the policies, not about inconvenient truths.
- Delete owner replies first. Reviews the owner has already replied to publicly cannot be processed while the reply is there.
- Billed once a month. One collected invoice for the reviews removed in that period. You set your end-customer price.
- White-label. Your client never learns that Mapnovi is involved.
How to start
Check five existing clients, create a partner account, submit the worst location as your first order. Getting started needs no more than that.
